Minecraft Realm Rules

Please take these rules into consideration when playing in the Nova Empire Minecraft Realm. By not doing so, you will risk losing access to the realm and all the progress you've made. All our community rules apply in this realm including the ones you find below.

1. Voice Communication and Chat

1. All players must join the Nova Empire Discord server and use this server for voice communications. For public text chats either the in-game chat should be used or the #minecraft channel in the Discord server.

2. Gamertags and Skins

1. All players must have appropriate gamertags that are not offensive. You can change your gamertag 1 time for free on the Xbox website.
2. Your Minecraft skin must be appropriate for our community and not offensive.
3. Using an alternate account to bypass a ban is not allowed.

3. Player Behavior

1. Do not beg for items. Try to help others instead.
2. Do not loot another player’s death location without their permission.
3. Going into another player’s base without permission is trespassing.
4. Do not kill pets, animals, or any name-tagged mob of another player.

4. Buildings

1. Do not modify other players’ builds without their consent.
2. No Builds too close to Spawn  (within 200 blocks)
3. No Builds too close to other Builds if you don't have permission from the owner of that Build. Build at least 20 blocks away from other players' structures unless you have permission from them.
4. No 1x1 Towers
5. No Trees without trunks near builds. Chop off every piece of the trunk to prevent this.
6. Do not build any type of farm with the purpose to overwhelm or cause a negative impact on the server.
7. 1v1’s are only allowed in 1v1 arenas or if your opponent agrees to do so.
8. Creating inappropriate buildings or content is not allowed.
9. After you’ve harvested the crops of a farm, please replant them.
10. Feed farm animals before killing them to make sure they multiply.
11. Do not place unwanted lava or water around the map.

5. Hacking, Mods and Scams

1. Do not hack or cheat to gain an advantage that would not normally be available in regular gameplay.
2. Abusing a bug or a glitch in the server to gain an unfair advantage is prohibited.
3. Do not attempt to use our server for the purpose of scamming other players.
4. Do not use items that are not typically obtainable in-game on any other server. 
5. You cannot use alternate accounts to spam chat, commands, or other communication methods.​

If you notice any player violating a rule, please report it to a staff member.

How do I get Build Access?

Step 1: Read the rules

To get build access, first read the realm rules above.

Step 2: Join the Nova Empire Discord server

Next, join our Discord server and indicate what your Gamertag is in Minecraft in the #minecraft channel. Also, read the Discord server rules when you enter.

Step 3: Notify us and access is granted!

After you’ve done all this, let us know via Discord chat. An admin will then give you Build Access and you can start playing!
