We play Bedrock edition!

So anyone playing on these devices can join: Windows 10 and 11 PCs, Xbox One and Series S/X, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, iOS and iPadOS devices, and Android devices.

How do I join the Realm?

Step 1: Read the rules

To join, first read the realm rules below.

Step 2: Add our server

We now run a dedicated server. In Minecraft Bedrock, go to Play > Servers, scroll down and select Add Server, then enter the following details:

  • Server Name: Nova Empire
  • Server Address (IP): novaempire.sr
  • Port: 19132

Save the server and select it from your server list to join.

Step 3: Join the Discord server (optional)

You're welcome to join our Discord server to chat and hang out with the community, and to keep up with announcements. Read the Discord server rules when you enter.

Minecraft Server Rules

Please take these rules into consideration when playing on the Nova Empire Minecraft server. By not doing so, you will risk losing access to the server and all the progress you've made. All our community rules apply on this server including the ones you find below.

1. Voice Communication and Chat

  1. Joining the Nova Empire Discord server for voice communication is not mandatory, but all players are welcome to hang out in the "Chill Room" voice channel. For public text chats either the in-game chat should be used or the #minecraft channel in the Discord server.

2. Gamertags and Skins

  1. All players must have appropriate gamertags that are not offensive. You can change your gamertag for free the first time by going to your Xbox profile, selecting the edit (pencil) icon next to your gamertag, or via Settings > Account > Change gamertag. You can also do this from account.microsoft.com. Each change after the first one is subject to a fee.
  2. Your Minecraft skin must be appropriate for our community and not offensive.
  3. Using an alternate account to bypass a ban is not allowed.

3. Player Behavior

  1. Do not beg for items. Try to help others instead.
  2. Do not loot another player’s death location without their permission.
  3. Do not kill pets, animals, or any name-tagged mob of another player.

4. Buildings

  1. No builds or nether portals within 200 blocks of spawn, and no 1x1 towers.
  2. Don’t modify or build within 20 blocks of another player’s build without their permission.
  3. Fully clear any trees you chop near builds — trunk and leaves, nothing left floating.
  4. No farms designed to overwhelm or negatively impact the server; replant crops after harvesting and feed animals before killing them.
  5. 1v1’s only in 1v1 arenas, or with your opponent’s consent.
  6. No inappropriate builds or content, and no unwanted lava or water placed around the map.

5. Hacking, Mods and Scams

  1. Do not hack or cheat to gain an advantage that would not normally be available in regular gameplay.
  2. X-ray (texture packs, mods, or any method revealing ores/mobs through blocks) is not allowed.
  3. Abusing a bug or a glitch in the server to gain an unfair advantage is prohibited.
  4. Do not attempt to use our server for the purpose of scamming other players.
  5. Do not use items that are not typically obtainable in-game on any other server. 
  6. You cannot use alternate accounts to spam chat, commands, or other communication methods.​
